The Texas State Aquarium is a non-profit aquarium in Corpus Christi, Texas, located in the United States. Its goal is to promote environmental conservation and wildlife rehabilitation in the Gulf of Mexico. Since 1995, it has been accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). It is Texas’ largest aquarium and one of the largest in the United States.
This museum, which was built in 1887 and served as an active jail until 1974, is located on the Wilson County Courthouse square. Despite the addition of modern utilities, the original jail floor plan and jail cells remain intact. The Wilson County Jailhouse Museum houses historical exhibits, photographs, and other memorabilia.
Rancho de las Cabras is part of the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, Texas’ only UNESCO World Heritage site. This area, which translates as “Goat Ranch,” was developed in the 1750s as livestock grazing lands to supply food for Mission Espada, located 30 miles to the north in present-day San Antonio.
Rancho de las Cabras is a developing park element: while the National Park Service drafts a master plan, access to the site is currently provided through ranger-guided tours and field trips.
Casa Blanca Historical Marker is a Texas park with an elevation of 126 meters. It is close to Lew’s Patio & Grill and the Putting Green.
Eschenburg Field is a Texas park with an elevation of 131 meters. It is close to the Floresville Middle School and the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office.

We love to celebrate our culturally rich heritage and diversity with Friday night football, mariachi bands, Tejano concerts, and classic country music and dancing. Alternatively, you can see a movie at the historic Arcadia Theatre just downtown.
